The Editorial Board of the journal Computer Technologies of Printing informs authors that they bear full personal responsibility for any inappropriate borrowing or use of research results from others, as well as for adhering to the ethics of scientific citation. Only original materials that have not been previously published are accepted for publication. Authors must ensure:

  • The originality of the submitted articles, meaning the materials have not been published in other editions in any language;
  • The total absence of plagiarism;
  • Proper referencing of relevant sources whenever the work or text of third parties is used. The journal Computer Technologies of Printing utilizes Unicheck software to monitor and detect textual borrowings in submitted manuscripts. The plagiarism percentage is calculated using software that scans documents for borrowings within both local databases and the Internet. The generated report is subsequently analyzed by the Editorial Board.

The Editorial Board analyzes all instances of detected plagiarism and reserves the right to deny a manuscript admission to the peer-review process. Scientific papers received by the editorial office are analyzed based on the following indicators:

  • Above 85% originality: The material is admitted for consideration;
  • 75% to 85% originality: The manuscript is returned to the authors for revision, with a recommendation to review textual borrowings and resubmit the revised article;
  • Less than 75% originality: The manuscript is rejected and not considered for publication;
  • Single-source limit: Plagiarism exceeding 3% from a single source is not permitted.

Plagiarism in all its forms is unacceptable and is regarded as unethical conduct and a violation of the professional code of conduct governing the relationship between authors, reviewers, editors, publishers, and readers, contradicting the provisions of the Publication Ethics section. If textual borrowing is identified after publication, the Editorial Board will conduct a thorough analysis. The editorial office will formally contact the author to notify them of the circumstances and findings.
